At the moment that Omar, the big brother, finally discovered where was Bertha, he help her to get out of the "pila". He realized that she wasn't alright since she didn't say nothing and her face was very sad. In her mind she was only thinking about the moment when her siblings were laughing at her. When her mom realized what had happened, she had mixed feelings since she wanted to say a lot of things to her but at the same moment she look that Bertha wasn't okay so she only hugged her firmly and say that she was very happy to see that nothing bad had happened to her.
After that event, all the family was thinking about what to do with Bertha and how to approach her to make her feel good. From that moment and on, everyone had to be very careful with all the things they said about Isabella at least they tried to avoid saying cute since to her while Bertha was there. Since the birthday of Bertha was coming everyone was thinking about what to do in that day for her. Unfortunately, doing a big party was not an option since the father had a lot of things to pay and now that Isabella had just come to the world it was worst. So, the siblings were thinking about any idea that could gave them money to buy Bertha at least a little gift.
Since the siblings didn't have money they needed to do something like a business or work. But the first option wasn't realistic since they didn't have something to sell. Finally, Glenda had the idea to sell jocotes from their little tree so she started saying to Omar:
-Glenda: Hey, I have an idea we could sell jocotes from our little tree!
-Omar: Do you think someone would buy us Jocotes?
-Glenda: Of cours! They are really delicious and we will convince everyone to buy.
-Omar: Okay, we can try. (He wasn't convinced at all but he didn't had another idea to get money)
So, from that moment Omar claimed into the Jocotes' tree and Glenda catched each Jocote to put it in a little container. After some minutes they had the conteiner full of Jocotes so they next step was to find out the people who could buy them the Jocotes. They walked out of their house and wait until the people appeared. They stood there for around an hour and nobody wanted to buy Jocotes, they were really upset by the time and they decided to get into the house. While they were trying to get in a car passed by the street, there was white man driving the car, but she seemed to be a little lost. He stopped the car in front of them and ask them were the park was. At that moment Omar answered and tried to give him the directions to get to the park. After she understood where he had to go, he said "thank you, you are very kind" and Omar said "your welcome" the white man realized that they had a little container of Jocotes and that they had a pretty sad faces. So, he decided to ask them if they were selling the Jocotes or something and they said: "Yes, we are trying to sell them since we want to have a little money to buy a present to our sister, her birthday is tomorrow". The man was very touched by those words and decided to buy the Jocotes so he gave them 2 dollars. The children looked at those two dollars as if they were the most precious thing they had seen and they were very grateful with the man fir giving them those two dollar.
At that moment they had to go to the store to buy a little gift to their sister, so they decided to go the next day in the morning. Finally, the next day began and they went to the store and found a beautiful doll with a red dress and it was only $1.99 so they decided to buy it. At the end of the day their father bought a little cake for Bertha's birthday and they sang the traditional Birthday song. After that the two siblings told her that they had a surprise and they gave her the little doll, she was shocked since she had always wanted a doll like that. At that moment they took advantage of the time and they apologized for laughing at her the last time and told her that they really loved her.
